HL/OF-2-TAL High Level / Overfill Alarm Panel

Description

Timco Fixed Level Alarm Panels enhance HL/OF total system reliability and barge safety. Alarm panels and related Solar Cells and Batteries must be located outside of the Hazardous Location on deck. All output for the alarm panel to the LFA-S alarm sensors or input from barge to dock connections are intrinsically safe.

OPERATION OF THE HL/OF-2-TAL AUDIO/VISUAL ANNUNCIATON

• Timco fixed alarm panels provides two daylight viewable LED level alarm indicating lights per compartment. HL/OF indicating lights are configure for intuitive interpretation of which compartment is in the High Level or Overfill Alarm condition.
• The daylight viewable Yellow LED indicating lights illuminate with corresponding Yellow Strobe and Alternating 115DB horn.
• The daylight visible Red LED indicating light illuminates with the corresponding Red Strobe light and 115DB Steady Sounding horn.

Per 46 CFR 111.105-31 (l) location in weather must have only approved intrinsically safe, explosion-proof, or purged and pressurized equipment, and through runs of marine shipboard cable if the location is:

Within 10′-0″ (3 m) of:
Cargo tank vent outlet
Cargo tank ullage opening
Cargo pipe flange
Cargo valve
Cargo handling room entrance
Cargo handling room ventilation openings

Within 16′-0″ (5 m) of:
Cargo tank pressure/vacuum valves with an unlimited height.

Within 33′-0″ (10 m) of:
Vent outlets for free flow of vapor mixtures and high velocity vent outlets for the passage of large amounts of vapor, air or inert g a s mixtures.
