Proudly manufactured on the banks of the Ohio River by family owned Timco Industries.HL/OF-2 Single & Dual
High Level Overfill Alarm Panel
The Timco High Level / Overfill Alarm Annunciator Panel satisfies 46CFR 39.2009(a) when connected to Timco or similar HL/OF Sensors having NC switches.
Installation must conform to 46CFR 111.105. The HL/OF-2 Fixed Level Alarm system is USCG Accepted satisfying overfill protection requirements on Tank Barges.
HL/OF-1
Portable Alarm Panel
Our unit provides intrinsically safe output through robust electronic circuitry, delivering reliable I.S. sensing to barge HL/OF sensors. Rechargeable 24-volt batteries offer long operational time, and the waterproof case, digital voltmeter, on-board charger, and carry handle make it a durable, tankerman-ready safety tool.
For dependable integration, the system uses Hubbell connectivity with a 516B fixed male receptacle for dock alarm sensing and a 516C female receptacle with cable for barge connection. This standard interface ensures consistent alarm communication during cargo transfer.
SG-612
Premium Sight Glass
SG-612 is USCG Accepted and satisfies 46CFR 39.2003 (a) 2. Featuring a single 2” thick SS glass frame has superior strength, yet weighs only 53lbs. The Rigid mono frame design requires no torque wrench for fast simplified assembly without fear of glass breakage.
Glass surface is top flush, so water cannot pool or form surface residue. Deck mounting is taller for wrench access and has a standard bolt pattern for easy exchange. Our ¾” TK Borofloat glass assembly is fully interchangeable with current existing sigh glass frames for upgrade installations. Wiper arms, shafts, bushings handles and cartridges are all interchangeable for repair/upgrade use with existing sight glasses.
LFA-S
HL/OF liquid level alarm sensors
The LFA-S High Level/Overfill Liquid Level Sensor is USCG accepted and satisfies 46CFR 39.2009 (a) 2 requirements as part of your barge Overfill Prevention System when installed in accordance with 46CFR 111.105 for Hazardous Locations.
UL FILE E540290
TB-RSG-8
Sight Glass 8" Round ASsembly
The TB-RSG-8 is an 8” round marine sight glass designed for use on tank barges and they are compliant with USCG regulations 46CFR 39.2003 (a) 2. With all stainless steel construction, it provides tankermen with a 56 sq/in viewing port to monitor liquid levels safely without exposing them to hazardous vapors. It is an essential tool for safe and efficient cargo transport. You can expect seamless fleet integration when specifying and ordering Timco Sight Glasses and parts.
TSG-3937
Magnetically Coupled Rising Stick Gauge
TSG-3937 is U.S. Coast Guard accepted. It satisfies 46CFR 39.2003 (b) 1, OPA 90 regulations for overfill devices and is suitable for use on ABS classed vessels. Personnel are not exposed to hazardous cargo vapors on the tank top when using. The hazard of overfill spills is greatly reduced when properly used.
Timco Radar
Our FAST-SWEEP Radar TRANSMITTER FOR CONTINUOUS LEVEL MEASUREMENTS FREQUENCY MODULATED CONTINUOUS WAVE (FMCW) TECHNOLOGY is an intrinsically safe non-contact liquid level sensor made of 316SS with PTFE inner shield. For use with corrosive media and chemicals, tolerating light surface foam or agitation and higher temperatures to 482F or pressures to 363PSI.
Stuffing Boxes
Timco’s Superseal™ Stuffing Box uses multiple Teflon™ packing rings, a Teflon lantern ring, and our high-temp/low-flow suspension grease to maintain vapor-tight performance well above 8 PSI, provided the reach rod surface is smooth and true. Its exclusive gland design traps sealing grease around the rod, prevents over-tightening with a metal-to-metal boss, and delivers long service life through full 316SS construction.
Valve Components
While tankermen depend on simple handwheel operation to control below-deck valves, maintaining a vapor-tight seal at the stuffing box is critical to safe cargo transfer. Timco’s stainless steel deck stands, 316SS SuperSeal™ Stuffing Box, and full suite of tightly-toleranced operating components—couplers, yokes, levers, and rod ends—ensure rugged durability, corrosion resistance, and seamless compatibility across all major barge valve systems.
Pressure Gauges
The dry gauge features a needle with dampened heavy duty movement mechanism to eliminate pointer flutter in high vibration environments. This increases the life of the gauge, makes the gauge easier to read, and eliminates the potential for fluid to leak from the gauge. Gauge features a white painted aluminum dial, black printed figures, and black anodized aluminum pointer.
Flame Screens
Timco Flame Screens meet full U.S. Coast Guard requirements (46 CFR 151.03-25) and are built from 30×30 316 stainless steel mesh to prevent flame travel while allowing tanks to breathe. Each screen features laser-cut stainless rings, welded low-profile handles, and is available in a wide range of round and oval sizes to fit any ullage hatch.
Scupper
Timco Scupper Plugs are built from forged EPDM for long-lasting durability in the field and come equipped with a bronze hex nut and stainless lanyard for a secure, dependable seal. The cam-handle design allows quick one-step operation and adjusts easily to fit common schedule pipe diameters.
Regulatory Signs
Timco’s Dangerous Cargo and Benzene Sign packages meet all applicable USCG requirements and include stainless steel frames, pennants, and mounting brackets sized for standard cargo ID and safety signage. With a large inventory across three locations, Timco ships most sign packages fully assembled the same day for fast, hassle-free compliance.
Deck Hardware
From pad eyes and cleats to latches and locking pins, Timco’s deck hardware is trusted across inland and coastal fleets. Each piece is made from high-tensile materials and tested for heavy-duty service in marine conditions.
